TRIP TO ASAKUSA

It was the first time I went to Asakusa. A traditional place likes Basilique du Sacré-Cœur but more noisy and cheerful . Too many foreign (and Japanese) travelers visited there. It struck me as touristy… 

Got to "Thunder Gate" a grand entrance to the temple

The actual prayer building was behind me,but i forgot the name:p

After going through the main street I reached a famous traditional sweet shop named 'Umemura'.I ate a few different Japanese traditional sweets I have never had. Kakigori was great because the ice had been shaved more softy.

BROWSING TURNED TO BUYING

I was browsing in Shimokitazawa yesterday.

Found out ‘Demolished Thoughts’ the 4th solo album from Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore, 

cute record jacket is designed by Steven Parrino.

Also found out João Gilberto’record(secondhand).I’d put them on my shopping list.

Vintage clothing store looks like a flea market of French Countryside.

I hunted for some bargains in there.

Bought U2’s shirt 'Under bloody red sky 1983'.
